That makes the i3+ an excellent option for those who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but aren't afraid of taking the time to empty their robot's trash bin when it fills up.
Both robots are adept in removing dirt and dust particles on carpets and hard floors and can navigate around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home to assist the i3+ to navigate and clean up efficiently. The i3+ does not have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or other top-rated robots we have test. It may get stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between surfaces, such as hardwood and rug.
iRobot suggests cleaning the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or clutter it might come across. It's also an excellent idea to keep the dust bin and filter clear so they don't become clogged with dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station and empties the dirt into the station’s external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning where it started. The battery's life span is approximately an hour-and-a-half of continuous usage. It takes three hours to charge.

The Roomba I7+ is able to map rooms more efficiently with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and you can control your robot via the app or via voice.
The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin, which eliminates major sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning session, move itself around the room and sweep an area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and easy with the iRobot Home app. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+ like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom."
